This cliffside dwelling in Linksfield has transformed into a lush contemporary tropical family outdoor space. Being a sloped cliffside property in Linksfield, we tiered it using a retaining wall and brought in new topsoil to provide a new lawn area, ideal for the young children in the family to have the freedom to play, run, kick a ball around and explore outside.

New decking links the exterior to the interior. The pool make-over, along with a Pergola provided ample entertaining options.

Properties in Linksfield clifftop are exposed to more extreme weather elements, so the plant palette had to reflect this. We created pockets of lush textural planting in protected pockets around the pool. Palms, Ferns, Agarves and hardy plants were used on the surrounding exposed slopes.

The splashes of bright colour reflected the homeowners Mediterranean heritage.
